Sothink HD Movie Maker allows you to convert videos in a large number of video formats (AVI, MPEG, MP4, WMV, etc.) into HD movies for burning them onto DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. I really like that the program enables you to adjust a great number of video parameters before actually burning movies to discs. By accessing the panel displayed on the right side of the main window, you get access to video parameters like: video dimensions, video frame rate, zoom mode, video codec, audio bit rate, etc. In addition to this, the program offers you a list of predefined templates for the movie menu and lets you use your own image files to create new ones.
Sothink HD Movie Maker also includes a video player. It comes in handy when you're dealing with multiple videos that you need to burn on one disc (e.g. to get the order right). Also, from the Options menu, you get access to a lot of settings related to both the program itself and its graphical user interface.
All in all, Sothink HD Movie Maker is quite easy to use and does well when you need to create DVDs or Blu-ray discs.
